New Year Of Books

…begins every July when I turn a new page in my life and grow another year older.

I read books randomly, both fiction and non-fiction.

I’ve been reading books for as long as I can remember…and hopefully will continue to do so. I’ve inherited this from my dad, who loves to read and has a library at his house. He probably inherited his love of reading from his mom (my grandmother), who would use both glasses and a magnifying glass to read in the later years of her life.

Books follow us through good times and bad times. Some are good, some are excellent and some we’ll never forget. And some are bad, some are horrible and some we’ll never completely finish.

But no matter what…

books are awesome and you should read them!

Reading “To Negotiate” (well, sort of) together with my dad, ca. 1982.
